In September 2024, ERM Climate Markets (part of ERM, the world's largest specialist sustainability consultancy) partnered with CEEZER to launch the ERM Carbon Credit Portal to provide ERM’s clients with access to carbon credits that complement their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction strategies and sustainability goals. 

This collaboration demonstrates how ERM Climate Markets leverages CEEZER’s digital infrastructure to make voluntary carbon markets more accessible while maintaining standards of quality and transparency.

Meeting growing client demand for carbon credits

According to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), among companies surveyed that currently purchase and retire carbon credits, 65 percent expect to increase these activities in the next five years, resulting in higher demand for high-quality carbon credits.

This growing demand is driven in large part by net-zero commitments. When companies commit to their decarbonization targets, they inherently commit to carbon removal. That’s because the "net" in net-zero requires neutralizing residual emissions through verified removal projects.
