Joining our Revenue Team: An interview with CEEZER CRO, Juliane Sterzl

Juliane Sterzl is Chief Revenue Officer at CEEZER. Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Global Sales at CoachHub and has led and transformed international sales teams at LinkedIn, Skillsoft, GlobalData, and Gartner. She has a strong track record of revitalizing teams and driving exceptional revenue growth.

We sat down with her to chat about CEEZER's Revenue Team, including how we empower our team, move fast in an exciting, new market, and why now is the right time to join our team.

What is it about CEEZER that makes selling here different and exciting?

Selling at CEEZER is different and exciting because we are a fast-growing company tapping into exciting, growing markets within the sustainability space. We work with leading enterprise organizations around the world, supporting them in developing and implementing high-impact climate strategies. This is a space where you can really make a difference and lead the way in providing value for our customers.

You’ve seen the enterprise sales landscape evolve over the years. Where do you see the biggest opportunities right now, and how is CEEZER uniquely positioned to capture them?

The enterprise sales landscape has evolved over the years, and especially in the climate tech space we see more solutions being targeted at enterprises. CEEZER is growing significantly as more and more enterprises select CEEZER as their preferred climate partner due to our expert support and rigorous focus on data and quality.

We ensure our AE team is set up to succeed in this market by offering the right tooling, training, and a cross-functional, collaborative working environment.

What qualities make someone truly successful in the Revenue Team?

To be successful in the Revenue Team at CEEZER you are excited to have a real impact: you want to see the results of your work, have the drive to win and to deliver the best possible outcome for our customers. You own your success and move fast - and do so in collaboration with everyone, working as one united team to raise the bar.

How are high performers empowered at CEEZER?

We empower high performers, and generally high performance, through a variety of ways. For example, a dedicated onboarding program, to get you settled in as fast as possible. You'll learn about how to work in CEEZER, the industry, our solutions, and our best-in-class tool stack. We have a direct feedback culture, direct line manager involvement in calls, and regular deal reviews to keep everyone on the same page and aligned on goals.

We provide regular reviews, structured, written feedback, regular training to upskill in sales methodologies and industry trends, as well as the support of our SDR and Marketing team.

How do you bring your sales and revenue experience to CEEZER?

My journey started as an AE selling complex, consultative offerings. Since then, I have led international B2B sales teams for 12+ years in fast paced environments. Most recently, I scaled a start-up from Series A through Series C, growing the revenue team from 20 to 350 people.

I joined CZR because I believe that we will be the leading global player in net-zero solutions for enterprise organizations worldwide and I look forward to working with more incredible people as part of our growth journey.
